Toyota names Cho as new president
Toyota Motor Corp. announces April 13 the appointment of Fujio Cho (C) to succeed Hiroshi Okuda (L) as company president. Cho, 62, currently Toyota's vice president, will assume the presidency in late June, following approval by the automaker's board of directors after an annual shareholders meeting. Okuda, 66, will become chairman, replacing Shoichiro Toyoda (R), 74, who will become Toyota's honorary chairman. ==Kyodo
