Court rejects H.K. residents' claims on military yen
A group of Hong Kong residents goes into the Tokyo District Court on June 17 holding a banner calling on the Japanese government to redeem yen notes issued by the military during Japan's World II occupation of the territory. The court turned down their lawsuit.
