Hitachi to sell digital VCR

The handout photo shows a videocassette recorder which Hitachi Ltd. will release July 15. The VCR that can records analogue television programs in the D-VHS digital format will be priced at 148,000 yen (about 1,210 dollars), Hitachi said in a press release June 23.
