Miyazawa pushes for job-creation extra budget
TOKYO, Japan - Finance Minister Kiichi Miyazawa makes a policy speech at the House of Representatives on July 12, urging the Diet to swiftly enact a 519.8 billion yen extra budget aimed at financing the creation of more than 700,000 new jobs and combating record unemployment. Behind Miyazazwa is Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi.
