Pro-Jakarta militia hold funeral rally in Dili

DILI, East Timor - Hundreds of members of the pro-Jakarta Aitarak militia hold a funeral rally in Dili on Sept. 1 for one of the group killed on Aug. 29, allegedly by a pro-independence supporter, who is currently under the protection of the U.N. Mission in East Timor (UNAMET). The militia later fired shots at residents and chased away journalists in front of the UNAMET headquarters.
