Aged S. Korean convict in Japan paroled after 31 years
NARITA, Japan - Kim Hui Ro, a South Korean resident of Japan previously serving a life sentence for murder, leaves Narita airport for Pusan, South Korea, on Sept. 7. Kim, 70, was paroled earlier in the day from a prison in Chiba Prefecture, 31 years after his arrest. Kim had been convicted of killing two Japanese who had pressured him to repay money he owed them.
