Japan should seek U.S. help to stem yen's rise, Gyohten says
TOKYO, Japan - Japan should seek U.S. help to stem the yen's excessive appreciation against the U.S. dollar, Toyoo Gyohten, a former vice finance minister for international affairs, said in a recent interview with Kyodo News. Gyohten currently serves as president of the Institute for International Monetary Affairs in Tokyo.
