BOJ chief Hayami denies immediate policy change
WASHINGTON, U.S. - Bank of Japan (BOJ) Governor Masaru Hayami (R) indicated in Washington on Sept. 26 that the central bank has no plan to change its monetary policy in the immediate future. Hayami made his remarks at a hastily called news conference. Hayami said, 'It has not changed.' The press conference was attended by BOJ Executive Director Masayuki Matsushima (L).
