Int'l wheelchair marathon held in Oita

OITA, Japan - Contestants in the 19th Oita International Wheelchair Marathon pass on the main street of Oita City in Japan's southernmost main island of Kyushu on Oct. 31. The event has full and half-marathon races, with 382 people from 26 countries competing. Heinz Frei of Switzerland won the men's full marathon in a time of 1 hour, 20 minutes and 14 seconds. Japan's Kazu Hatanaka won the women's full marathon.
