Three events were set up for this year's marathon: marathon, half marathon and mini run. After a fierce competition, Asnake Dubre Negawo from Ethiopia won the men's marathon with a time of two hours, 14 minutes and 27 seconds, and his compatriot Emane Seifu Hayile won the women's marathon with a time of two hours, 31 minutes and 19 seconds. China's Yang Kegu from Sichuan Province won the men's half-marathon in one hour, six minutes and 18 seconds, while the women's half-marathon title went to China's
