KOBE, Japan - Two brothers who were victims of the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake in western Japan, are planning a bicycle tour around quake-hit Taiwan to encourage Taiwanese children. Masamichi Yazaki, 13, (L) and his brother Naomichi, 10, of Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture, will spend their winter holidays cycling around Taiwan to meet children who were victims of the devastating earthquake that hit the island in September. They also plan to visit asylums for orphans who lost their parents in the disaster.
