Princess Masako heads for Imperial Palace

TOKYO, Japan - Crown Princess Masako, who has recently shown signs of pregnancy, heads for the Imperial Palace on Dec. 23 to attend key official events to mark Emperor Akihito's 66th birthday. The crown princess, wife of Crown Prince Naruhito, is attending a congratulatory ceremony at the Imperial Palace, along with her husband, the emperor and empress, and other members of the imperial family.
