Russian central bank replaces 5,000 PCs for Y2K

MOSCOW, Russia - Pictured is the Russian central bank's computer control center, located in a Moscow suburb, which by Dec. 27 finished replacing some 5,000 personal computer terminals with new machines in preparation for possible Y2K computer problems. The replacement cost the bank some 40 million dollars.
