Sega Toys to release robot dogs in April
TOKYO, Japan - Sega Toys Ltd., a subsidiary of Sega Enterprises Ltd., said Jan. 18 it will release a robot dog onto the domestic market on April 1 for 2,980 yen per unit. ''Poo-Chi'' is a 17-centimeter long, 365-gram electronic toy controlled by sensors and chips. It moves its ears and legs when patted or talked to, and expresses ''emotions'' by electronic yelps and music. It has six ''moods'' which it expresses through its eyes.
