New Year sumo champion Musoyama speaks to reporters
TOKYO, Japan - Musoyama, who won the New Year Grand Sumo Tournament Championship on Jan. 23, speaks to reporters at the Musashigawa stable in Tokyo on Jan. 24. ''The victory still hasn't sunk in. I'll try my best to get promoted (to Ozeki) in spring,'' he said. The 27-year-old sekiwake won the championship after he knocked fellow sekiwake Kaio out of the ring at Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan on the final day of the tourney.
