Stamps to feature old Japanese automobiles
TOKYO, Japan - Stamps featuring old Datsun and Toyota automobiles will be issued Feb. 9 by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. The stamps are among a series on 20th century design. The two 50-yen stamps feature three cars -- two Datsuns manufactured in 1932 and a Toyota made in 1936. The three cars were the first mass-produced automobiles in Japan. Datsun was the forerunner of Nissan Motor Co.
