N. Korea to allow S Korea to fish in its waters
BEIJING, China - North Korea and South Korea end weeklong fisheries talks on Feb. 26 in Beijing with an agreement allowing South Korean fishing boats to operate in North Korean territorial waters in the Sea of Japan. Ho Hyok Phil, an adviser to the North's National Economic Cooperation Federation (R), and Kim Dae Gwon, an adviser to South Korea's National Alliance of Fishermen (L) announced the accord at a press conference after their Feb. 20-26 meeting held in Beijing.
