Japan, China sign fishery pact
BEIJING, China - Japan's Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Tokuichiro Tamazawa (L) and Chinese Agriculture Minister Chen Yaobang (R) shake hands at a Beijing hotel Feb. 27 after signing an agreement to make a bilateral fisheries pact effective from June. The agreement ends differences between the two countries over zoning that had lingered since a fishery accord was signed in November 1997.
