NAGOYA, Japan - A Luehdorfia japonica, a butterfly only found on Japan's main island of Honshu, has been artificially bred by butterfly lover Kisuke Kushihara at his home in Nagoya, central Japan. The butterfly, popularly called the goddess of spring, is on the verge of extinction.
