Ex-legal adviser to AUM gets 12 years in prison

TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows Yoshinobu Aoyama, 40, a former member of and legal adviser to the AUM Shinrikyo cult, who was sentenced by the Tokyo District Court on March 29 to 12 years in prison for his role in an attempted murder, attempted fraud and six other criminal cases.
