Experts advise on G-8 summit

TOKYO, April 12 Kyodo - Fred Bergsten (2nd from L), co-chairman of the Pre-Summit Preparatory Conference in 2000, hands his group's recommendations to Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori (L) on April 12. The recommendations urged the Group of Eight (G-8) leaders to focus on key issues such as globalization and Asian security at their summit in July in Okinawa Prefecture.
