Man who allegedly murdered to fake own death kills himself

KANIE, Japan - Reporters flock to Kanie Police Station in Kanie, Aichi Prefecture, on a report that Kiyoshi Hasegawa, 53, committed suicide early June 28 in a police cell, two days after being arrested on suspicion of murdering an acquaintance by means of a traffic collision in an attempt to fake his own death and collect life insurance money.
