Cloned cow gives birth to female calf

KANAZAWA, Japan - Picture shows a calf born July 10 whose mother was a cloned cow. Japan's farm ministry says the birth may be the first of its kind in the world. The calf was born at the Ishikawa Prefectural Livestock Research Center in Ishikawa Prefecture. Both it and its mother were reported in healthy condition.
