5 former Tokyo Sowa execs plead not guilty
TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows (from L to R) Shoichi Osada, a former chairman of Tokyo Sowa Bank, former President Mizuho Kojima, and former Vice President Masatoshi Fukui, who with two other ex-executives pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiring to show falsely that the bank had adequate capital reserves, in the first hearing of their trial at the Tokyo District Court on Aug. 31.
