Students protest Suharto's absence from court

JAKARTA, Indonesia - Students protest in Jakarta on Aug. 31 over the nonattendance of former Indonesian President Suharto at a session of his trial for corruption. The court opened earlier in the day under the jurisdiction of the South Jakarta District Court, but was soon adjourned until Sept. 14 because of the Suharto's absence on medical grounds.
