Ford should also be blamed for deaths: Bridgestone

TOKYO, Japan - Yoichiro Kaizaki, president of tire maker Bridgestone Corp., met the press in Tokyo on Oct. 23 and suggested that Ford Motor Co. is partly responsible for highway deaths in the United States involving Ford's sport-utility vehicles and tires made by Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. His comments countered repeated arguments by Ford that tires were the cause of the accidents.
