Top gov't spokesman Nakagawa resigns over scandal

TOKYO, Japan - Chief Cabinet Secretary Hidenao Nakagawa is swarmed by reporters on the morning of Oct. 27 as he comes out of a room after tendering his resignation to Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori. Nakagawa resigned after coming under heavy criticism over scandals involving a right-wing extremist and an extramarital affair.
