Chiba company executive nabbed for concealing amphetamines
YOKOHAMA, Japan - Photo taken at a Yokohama police station Nov. 8 shows 228 bags or 250 kilograms of amphetamine found in a double-walled container that arrived in Yokohama port from China's Guangdong Province aboard a Dutch-registered freighter Oct. 25. Police have arrested a Japanese company executive who allegedly was to receive the illegal drugs. Police are on the lookout for several other accomplices, on the premise that the case is connected to a large-scale smuggling syndicate.
