Kotomitsuki upsets Musashimaru

FUKUOKA, Japan - No. 9 maegashira Kotomitsuki throws down grand champion Musashimaru Nov. 15 to pull off a giant-killing act and join yokozuna Akebono in a two-way lead at 10-1 in the Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament. Musashimaru slipped into a tie with yokozuna Takanohana and ozeki duo Kaio and Chiyotaikai, who all posted victories to remain one win off the pace at 9-2 with four days left of the 15-day meet at Fukuoka Kokusai Center.
