Peru opposition paper prints Fujimori's Japanese registration

LIMA, Peru - A Peruvian opposition newspaper printed Nov. 22 a copy of ousted President Alberto Fujimori's birth registration in Japanese. The registration was allegedly filed with the Japanese consulate in Lima by Fujimori's late father, who immigrated to Peru from Japan. The Liberacion said Fujimori is a Japanese national and therefore was unqualified to be a Peruvian head of state.
