Gov't panel to prioritize IT tasks by end of March
TOKYO, Japan - The first meeting of the ''new IT strategy headquarters,'' headed by Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori, is held at the premier's official residence in Tokyo on Jan. 22. The panel decided to specify priority areas by the end of March with the aim of giving Japan one of the world's most advanced information technology (IT) infrastructures in five years.
