New U.N. relief organization head to tap Japan's experience
NEW YORK, United States - Kenzo Oshima, the newly appointed U.N. undersecretary general for humanitarian affairs, is shown during an interview with Kyodo News in New York on Jan. 30. He said he plans to tap Japan's vast experience to cope with natural disasters in his new job as the top U.N. official in charge of coordinating worldwide emergency relief operations.
