GSDF squad set to leave for quake-hit India
NAGOYA, Japan - Members of the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force's 10th Division prepare relief goods Feb. 2 for a medical squad to be sent to northwestern India, which was devastated by an earthquake Jan. 26. The division will dispatch a 100-member team including several doctors and a dozen nurses outside the GSDF on Feb. 4 to areas centering on the hardest-hit state of Gujarat.
