JAL president apologizes for near miss
TOKYO, Japan - Isao Kaneko, president of Japan Airlines (JAL), apologizes for the Jan. 31 near miss between two JAL planes at a press conference at JAL's head office in Tokyo on Feb. 2. Kaneko said the captain and other crew members of one of the planes feel strong responsibility for passengers being injured in the accident.
