Russian bombers enter Japanese airspace near Hokkaido
TOKYO, Japan - The photo, taken by the Defense Agency, shows a Russian Backfire bomber which entered Japanese airspace near Hokkaido, northern Japan, twice on Feb. 14. Four Russian planes, including two Backfire Tu-22 bombers, flew eastward over the Soya Straits near Rebun Island, northern Hokkaido, between 11:59 a.m. and 12:02 p.m., the agency said.
