Airports use mats to stop foot-and-mouth disease

NARITA, Japan - Passengers arriving at Narita airport on direct flights from Britain on March 15 walk over disinfectant mats as part of measures to curb the spread foot-and-mouth disease. Similar requirements are in place for all passengers arriving from Britain at Kansai airport in Osaka Bay and Nagoya airport in central Japan.
