Okinawa gov. demands early handover of rape suspect
TOKYO, Japan - Okinawa Gov. Keiichi Inamine speaks at a press conference in Tokyo on July 4 about the handover of Air Force Staff Sgt. Timothy Woodland, suspected of raping a woman on June 29 in Chitan, central Okinawa. He demanded that both Japanese and U.S. governments strive for Woodland's swift handover to the Okinawa police.
