Tanaka to return salary over ministry scandals
TOKYO, Japan - Foreign Minister Makiko Tanaka announces Aug. 10 she will return one month's worth of her salary to state coffers over a series of embezzlement scandals involving ministry officials which broke since she took office in late April.
