Tokyo stocks soar on BOJ's surprise credit-easing
TOKYO, Japan - A stock quotation board at a brokerage house in Tokyo's Toranomon business district on Aug. 14 shows the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average on the Tokyo Stock Exchange up 440 points on a surprise decision by the Bank of Japan to further relax its ultra-loose monetary policy.
