Sugiyama defeated in quarterfinals of Toyota Princess Cup

TOKYO, Japan - Ai Sugiyama, Japan's sole representative in the quarterfinals in the Toyota Princess Cup tennis tournament, leaves the court on Sept. 21 after she was defeated 6-4, 6-3 against Spain's Gala Leon Garcia at Ariake Tennis Forest Park in Tokyo.
