Japanese, EU parliamentarians toast in reception

TOKYO, Japan - Japanese lawmakers and a group of European Parliament members raise a toast at a reception held at the official residence of the House of Representatives speaker in Tokyo on Oct. 29. The European Parliament group, headed by Swede Jan Andersson, arrived in Japan on Oct. 28 on a seven-day visit to Tokyo and Okinawa for talks with Japanese lawmakers and officials to boost Japan-European Union (EU) political ties.
