Thaksin praises Japan's SDF dispatch

BANGKOK, Thailand - Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra speaks in an interview with Japanese journalists in Bangkok on Nov. 9, 2001 ahead of his official visit to Japan beginning Nov. 18. Thaksin said he admired Japan's decision to provide logistical support for the U.S.-led war against terrorism in the wake of the Sept. 11 suicide attacks in the United States.
