Japan updates U.S. on SDF support plan, U.S. appreciative+

TOKYO, Japan - Member of the Japan-U.S. bilateral coordination committee meet at the Foreign Ministry in Tokyo on Nov. 14, 2001. Japan updated the United States on its ''basic plan'' for the Japanese Self-Defense Forces (SDF) to lend noncombat support to the U.S.-led military operations against terrorism.
