Terada to become 1st female leader of Kansai Keizai Doyukai

OSAKA, Japan - Chiyono Terada (R), president of major moving company Art Corp., poses with Kazuo Asada (L), president of NTT West Corp., at a news conference in Osaka on Dec. 20. Terada and Asada have been appointed to succeed Kazuaki Tsuda as co-chairmen of the Kansai Keizai Doyukai (Kansai Association of Corporate Executives). Terada will be the first woman to lead any of the five major business organizations based in Osaka.
