Thousands seek jobs with Chinese firms at H.K. fair

HONG KONG - Thousands of people in Hong Kong compete for several hundred jobs in China at a recruitment fair on Jan. 26 with the territory's jobless rate hitting a two-year-high amid the global economic downturn. The job fair is the first ever organized for Chinese state-run and private companies.
