Mizuho Corporate Bank denies need of public funds

TOKYO, Japan - Hiroshi Saito, president-designate of Mizuho Corporate Bank, which will be created April 1 through the reorganization of the world's largest banking group, speaks in an interview with Kyodo News in Tokyo on Feb. 12. He said Japan's battered banking system needs no additional injection of public funds.
