Olympus promises cooperation in infection case

TOKYO, Japan - Tsuyoshi Kikukawa (R), president of Olympus Optical Co., says at a news conference March 6 in Tokyo that the company will fully cooperate with investigations into whether its bronchoscope caused infections at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. The company believes the likelihood of the product being the cause is not high.
