Gov't makes job offer info available via cell phones
TOKYO, Japan - The government on March 7 launched a mobile-phone version of its Internet information service on public and private job offers nationwide. The mobile-phone version run by the Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry is aimed at giving wider access to its Job-net service amid the harsh employment situation as the jobless rate remains at record-high levels. The service is free, except phone charges.
