Kawasaki Heavy develops robot sensory remote control system
TOKYO, Japan - A researcher operates a prototype remote control system for a humanoid robot that Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. has developed. The heavy machinery maker said on March 26 that the system allows operators to feel as if they are inside the robot and the remote control apparatus will enable them to control the robots effectively at disaster sites.
