Ozawa begins final concerts in N.Y. with Boston Symphony
NEW YORK, United States - Japanese conductor Seiji Ozawa (L), who has been appointed musical director of the Vienna State Opera, and cellist Mstislav Rostropovich accept the applause of the audience at Carnegie Hall in New York on April 9. Ozawa began his final series of appearances in New York with the Boston Symphony Orchestra before assuming the new post.
